We have a full programme of drop-in classes for all levels – from the absolute beginner through to the advanced dancer.

Whether you’re a seasoned "tanguero" or yet to take your first steps, you’ll find our lessons welcoming and inspiring.

No partner necessary - come alone, with a partner or friends.

All classes are drop-in – no need to book beforehand, just turn up!

No start date – no need to join on any date or at the start of a term - our classes are ongoing and can be joined at any time!

What to Expect:

Our classes are divided into 3 parts:

(1) Technique (20/30 minutes)

Solo exercises to develop our coordination, balance, posture, musical, as well as the general "look". The exercises often incorporate movements/techniques which will be used in the 2nd part of the class.

(2) Partner Work (approx. 1 hour)

Each week different step combinations are explored with particular focus on the underlying technique, leading/following well, improvising with the elements, working with the music, as well as extra elements for self-expression. We rotate partners regularly so that you become as versatile a dancer as possible (although if you've come with a partner, we of course respect that)

(3) Demo & (free) Practica (20/30 minutes)

At the end of the class, we demonstrate the step combinations with some extra ideas for variation. If you're still going strong, you can continue practicing for a further 20-30 minutes for FREE, during which time we'll be on hand to answer any questions you may have!

We carefully select our venues based on the following criteria:

Ideal central London location close to bars and restaurants

Easy walking distance from a tube

Free parking in the evenings

Clean, air-conditioned studios with sprung floors to avoid injury and ceiling to floor mirrors

Comfortable waiting area for students who arrive early
