Our style is fundamentally traditional, with modern influences. We have studied with the most traditional maestros through to the most contemporary. We work with elegant, precise and fluid movements, maintaining at all times a close connection, formed by the unique tango embrace. Our Philosophy We believe in offering our students more than a set sequence of steps. We transmit a sound technical base whilst teaching our students how to master the art of improvisation and musical interpretation. We offer our students the skills with which to express themselves and experience what we believe to be the real magic of Argentine tango. Our Approach Our regular classes generally start with approx. 20 minutes of technique, with students working either individually or in pairs. This is followed by a sequence of steps, which seek to put into practice the technical part of the class. We then try to teach students how to break down the movements, encouraging them to improvise and work creatively.
